From the Bethlehem in the darkness of night
Came to us the Child of light
Bringing the message of peace to a world in need
And those shepherds were the first to know the Good News
Those seemingly insignificant spread the glorious message anew
Centuries later the words are still the same,
May joy, peace and the glory of God today reign
